Working Together to Plan for the Future of UW
University of Wyoming has commenced a master plan process that will assist the University in physically translating its academic mission and strategic vision through a data-driven, collaborative approach. The University has engaged Sasaki to facilitate the process.
This Master Plan will progress over eight months in 2019, in three phases. We will engage with the University of Wyoming community at every stage of the project.
The planning team will focus on learning about the campus. Strategies include stakeholder interviews and surveys, review of current/previous planning documentation, and analysis of existing conditions on campus.
Working closely with the University, the team will identity principles and goals of the plan and develop alternatives that address the needs identified during Phase 1. The conclusion of Phase 2 will be the selection of the preferred alternative.
The planning team will further develop and finalize the preferred direction. The final master plan will integrate all topic elements into the long-term vision for the UW. Final documentation with accompanying implementation strategy will establish a clear direction for the University.
